An Update for Our Customers

For the last twenty years, everyone at Boxclever Press has loved creating beautiful stationery that organises your life from the inside, out.

I have loved seeing it grow from just me, working around my two children under 5, to becoming Queen's Award winners - the best accolade a British business can win.

Sadly, things have been hard for us over the last couple of years. Brexit, the cost of living crisis, poor quality copies of our products and even the Houthi rebels have put the business under serious strain. We now have to make some changes to allow us to continue. We are so grateful that so many people care about our products and become lifelong customers, and we don’t want to let you down.

My two daughters, Kirsty and Freya, have joined the business full-time, and together we have created a long-term plan that will ensure that our products are the best they can be and sold in the best possible way – a way that suits all of our customers as well as ensuring that we can continue.

When I launched my first products 20 years ago, they lasted 16 months. This served our customers well, but looking at our data, it has become clear that in recent years, people have moved away from starting their calendars and diaries in September and instead purchase in December and January. Due to this shift, all of our 16-month products will be changing to 12 months. We appreciate that this will be a surprising change for some of our long-term customers but it will help us to keep our prices from rising and prevent people from being put off purchasing due to ‘wasted pages’. We will, from now on, always launch these in August / September.

Faced with escalating manufacturing expenses and cheap, poor-quality copies, we believe that the best course of action is to discontinue some of our less popular products for 2026 and focus on those that our customers return to us for year in, year out. Reading this, I know that you will want to make sure that your much-relied-upon product is safe. I don’t want to make this letter too long/detailed, so I would ask that you send us an Email so that we can give you a personalised answer to your questions.

These discontinuations include our products in Italian, French, and German products. Due to Brexit, it is no longer viable for us to sell into Europe on the scale we have been doing. Please be assured that we will continue to sell our English-language products to customers all over the world, dispatched from our offices in the UK.

Lastly, in order to bring you the best customer service we can, we will make our own website the best place to buy our products, reducing the focus on Amazon. This way we ensure that customers don’t inadvertently purchase rip offs that disappoint them and that products will arrive well-packed and cared for, with customer support that you can rely on.

We’re here to help and answer any questions you may have. Please do get in touch if you have any questions at all.

Thank you so much for your support over the years - it’s not easy being in business these days and I hope you will understand and work with us through these challenging times.
